Church
Peletah Ministries started in 2011 and assisted communities impacted by Hurricane Irene. The ministry launched in 2012 in James City, NC. (Craven County)
Our mission is to:
(1) Transform Lives, (2) Strengthen Families, (3) Intentionally Impact Communities through Jesus Christ.
School
Peletah Academic Center for Excellence started in 2017 as a culturally competent, trauma informed PK-12 private school.
P.A.C.E. has been nationally recognized for its work in trauma informed practices. Our school motto is: Setting the P.A.C.E. for a new generation of global learners.
Institute
The Peletah Institute for Building Resilient Communities was formed in 2020 to assist communities throughout Eastern North Carolina to build infrastructures of resiliency in response to natural disaster like Hurricane Florence or public health emergencies like COVID-19
More than one million people have been impacted by the Institute's work throughout North Carolina.
Trauma Recovery Center
The Peletah Trauma Recovery Center provides culturally competent, trauma-informed support for individuals and families navigating grief, loss, and mental health challenges.
Rooted in compassion and resilience, the center offers counseling, resources, and community engagement to promote healing, restoration, and hope for those affected by traumatic experiences.

In 2024, more than 200 devices distributed and more than 200 Digital Needs Assessments completed
